Kids’ Club in Menorca: Discover Kikoland, the Perfect Place for a Family Holiday

If you are planning a family holiday, there is probably one question that keeps coming up: what will the children do during the day?

And if this is your first time travelling with babies or young children, you may also be wondering:

  • Will there be activities for all ages
  • Will they be able to make new friends?
  • Is there a Baby Club
  • Will we be able to relax while they have fun?
  • Will it be a safe environment?

At Royal Son Bou Family Club, we created Kikoland precisely to answer all these questions.

More than just a Kids Club, Kikoland is the heart of the hotel and one of the reasons why so many families choose to spend their holidays with children in Menorca with us.

What is Kikoland?

Kikoland is where all the children's entertainment and activities at Royal Son Bou Family Club take place.

Its name comes from Kiko, our main mascot, who, together with Cuqui and Hooky, keeps families entertained throughout their stay with games, shows, activities and plenty of surprises.

Every day, hundreds of children visit Kikoland to play, learn, discover new experiences and make friends from different countries.

But what truly makes Kikoland special is that it has been designed so the whole family can enjoy their holiday.

While the children embark on new adventures, parents can relax knowing they are in a safe environment supervised by a professional team.

How does Kikoland work?

If this is your first stay at the hotel, the process is very simple.

On your first day, you will simply need to visit the Kikoland reception desk to register your children.

During registration, we will record all the information needed to ensure they can enjoy the activities safely, particularly regarding any:

  • food allergies;
  • intolerances;
  • special requirements;
  • relevant medical information.

We will also explain how each club works according to your children's ages, as well as the opening hours, excursions and all the activities available during your stay.

From your very first day, all you will need to focus on is enjoying your family holiday.

The orange vest system

One of the most common questions among families visiting us for the first time is how we identify children who are under the supervision of our entertainment team.

The answer is very simple: the orange vest.

When a child is placed under the supervision of our entertainment team, they are given an identification vest so they can be easily recognised at all times.

At the end of the activity, the parents sign the child out and the child returns the vest.

It is a very simple system that provides organisation, peace of mind and an extra level of safety throughout the day.

Freedom for older children

Older, more independent children can also enjoy Kikoland in their own way.

Provided their parents give permission during registration, they can come and go freely and take part in activities whenever they choose.

This allows them to enjoy their holiday with the independence appropriate for their age, while always remaining within the hotel's safe environment.

A place where there is always something to do

Even when there is no organised activity taking place, the fun never stops at Kikoland.

Children can freely enjoy a variety of areas created especially for them:

  • 💦 Splash Zone.
  • 🏰 Bouncy castle.
  • 🎈 Ball maze.
  • 🛝 Children's playground.
  • 🎨 Colouring and crafts area.
  • ⭕ Hula hoops.
  • ⚽ Balls and games.
  • 🤝 Spaces where they can make new friends.

Because every child enjoys their holiday in their own way.
