What’s new for 2026 at Royal Son Bou: renovations, new experiences and a surprise in Kikoland

If you’re already thinking about your next family holiday in Menorca, we have something to tell you.

While the hotel remains closed during the winter, at Royal Son Bou Family Club we use these months to improve spaces, refurbish certain areas and prepare new experiences for our families. All with one very clear goal: that when you return, your holidays will be even more special.

And this winter… a lot has been happening.

Evenings at Royal Son Bou get a brand-new stage

If you have stayed with us before, you will surely remember that moment of the day when everything changes: the sun starts to set, the children run towards the stage and you sit on the terrace with a cocktail in hand.

Evenings at Royal Son Bou are one of the most special moments of family holidays in Menorca, and this year we have renovated this area so you can enjoy them even more.

Among the improvements we have made:

  • A new stage floor where every evening the games, shows and dances begin with our entertainment team
  • A renewed terrace at Marés Bar, now more comfortable and welcoming for families
  • A new raised amphitheatre-style seating area, improving visibility and creating more space to enjoy the evening shows

All designed so you can keep enjoying those truly Royal Son Bou moments: a sunset cocktail while the children dance “Veo Veo” with our mascots Kiko, Cuqui and Hooky and make new holiday friends.

Refurbished apartments for your Menorca family holiday

We know that your apartment is much more than just a room: it becomes your little home during your holiday.

That is why this winter we have made several improvements to increase comfort and take care of every detail:

  • 36 apartments with new windows and terrace doors, bringing more light and comfort
  • 24 refurbished terraces with new flooring and railings
  • 48 apartments with new entrance doors
  • Interior and exterior painting work in different areas of the resort
  • Part of the terrace furniture has been updated to enjoy outdoor moments even more

We have also improved one of the things many families asked us for: 📶 a faster and more stable WiFi network throughout the resort.

Los Olivos Restaurant with a fresh new look

Our Los Olivos Restaurant, one of the places where families share so many moments together, has also been prepared for the new season.

This winter we refreshed the space with new painting and new furniture, creating a brighter and more welcoming atmosphere.

The perfect setting to continue enjoying what we love most: themed evenings, live cooking and family dinners after a day full of beach, pool and fun.

The big news in Kikoland: a new splash zone

And now comes the news we are most excited to share.

This winter Kikoland is undergoing a major transformation. Our space dedicated to children will feature a brand-new splash area, designed for them to play, cool off and enjoy even more adventures during their holiday.

We are sure it will quickly become one of the children’s favourite places in the resort.
